Atlantic Wood operates five
wood treatment plants in four East Coast states, from Georgia to New Jersey. Each of
the plants has been strategically located to take advantage of raw material resources and
truck, rail, and water transportation, with our largest plant having deep water access to
load ocean-going vessels.
Atlantic Wood Industries had its beginning in 1919 and the history of our company has been one of continuing growth in production capacity, distribution points and product development.
Our range of pressure treated wood products includes utility poles, bridge timbers, foundation and marine piling, and structural lumber. Additionally, in 1995, we formed a subsidiary company - Atlantic Metrocast, Inc. - and began producing pre-stressed and pre-cast concrete products, marking our commitment to meet the ever changing needs of our customers.
