Designers have long been aware that the adaptability and applications of treated wood products are virtually unlimited. With our specialized production facilities, we can fabricate structural timbers to the engineer’s precise specifications including daps, dressing, pre-drilling and counter sinking for hardware. Regardless of whether the project is on the land or in the marine environment, pressure treated timbers are the ideal material. They are strong and resilient, protected against decay and marine organisms, cost effective and virtually maintenance free.

Preservative Treatments

In accordance with the American Wood Preservers Association (AWPA) Standard C-2 Latest Edition

• Soil and Fresh Water Contact
  • Creosote – 10 pounds / cubic foot
  • Pentachlorophenol - .50 pounds / cubic foot
  • Chromated Copper Arsenate - .40 or .60 pounds / cubic foot

• Marine (Salt Water)
  • Creosote – 20 or 25 pounds / cubic foot
  • Chromated Copper Arsenate (CCA) – 2.5 pounds / cubic foot
  • Dual Treated – 1.5 pounds CCA & 20 pounds Creosote / cubic foot
